Nic "C.K." Grewal, an Orange County native has been playing keyboards since age 7. Originally introduced to the piano because of mandatory lessens imposed by his parents Nic began to enjoy music after he discovered the synthesizer in his teens. Growing up in the age of new wave Nic's sound was greatly influenced by artists like Depeche Mode and Oingo Boingo. After taking time to pursue a degree in Political Science and Philosophy from SDSU, Nic returned to music after graduation in 1999. When he is not playing with Dead Man's Party he is playing with his band LIFT or producing artists from his studio in Irvine. Nic has
"performed" with artists like Berlin, John Taylor (Duran Duran),
William Hung and David J (Love & Rockets) to name a few.
