Former DMP backup vocalist Erin Barton has been singing since she was almost 5. She started her first band, with a name too embarrassing to repeat, by the 7th grade and has gone between performing with bands to solo projects professionally for the past 20 years. Erin had long been active in musical theater modeling and acting but never strayed from her original performance as a singer/songwriter for very long.
Erin seems to be involved with a couple of projects at all times, and while her main focus is now singing lead vocals for
"Cotonormall" she had her sights set on being involved with Dead Man's Party from the start. Originally coming on to the project as Rob Elfaizy's vocal coach she, once again, found her way to a microphone by the second practice and
became well known as the rather "Up Front" back up singer.
Erin left the band in the beginning of 2004, but remains
Rob's Harpy to this day..."Everybody needs a little
punishment now and then..."
